Do you take health insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill you can submit for possible out of network reimbursement if your plan allows it. Many clients also use HSA or FSA cards.
What are your rates and session length?
Sessions are 50 minutes at $135 dollars per session.
Do you meet in person or online?
I currently meet by secure video with clients across Arizona. If you prefer in person, mention that in your message and we can talk about options.
How do I schedule?
Text or call (602) 903-5064 to set up a free 15 minute phone consult. In that call we will talk through what you are looking for, make sure we are a good fit, and, if so, pick a time for your first session. You can also email thehugtherapycenter@gmail.com.
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes. I am currently taking new clients Monday through Friday. Text or call (602) 903-5064 for a free 15 minute phone consult and we will find a time that works. If the time you want is not available, I can add you to a short waitlist.
Is your telehealth and scheduling software secure?
Yes. I use HIPAA-compliant, encrypted telehealth and a secure client portal for intake forms, scheduling, and payments. Sessions are not recorded.
How are payments handled?
I accept credit and debit cards, HSA, and FSA. Payments are processed through a PCI-compliant system in the client portal. I do not bill insurance, but I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement if your plan allows it.
What if I am new to therapy?
That is completely okay. We will keep it simple. In the first session we talk about what brings you in, what has been hard, and what you hope will change. I share a straightforward plan. You set the pace.
What if I am not good at sharing feelings?
You do not have to be. Many clients start there. We slow things down, find words together, and practice small steps that feel doable. You can show up exactly as you are.
