MORE  ABOUT ME.

IN MY OWN WORDS

I was born and raised in La Plata, Argentina with my Argentine father and my American mother. As someone from a multicultural background, I wanted to create an environment where diversity is recognized and honored. I started The H.U.G Therapy Center in an attempt to provide a welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, Et Cetera. I also wanted there to be a place where “non-traditional” couples could come for support and guidance. Ultimately, studies show that everyone needs meaningful connections, and it is my honor to enable meaningful connections in couples and individuals from varying backgrounds.

My years of education have equipped me to use my clinical insights to help couples see what’s going on beneath the surface. I received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. During my senior year I began interning at the Center For Autism & Related Disorders, where I passed the trainings and exams necessary to qualify as a “Behavioral Technician.” After graduation I went on to receive my Masters of Advanced Study degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, completing the intensive program with a 4.0 GPA. I attended a year long externship at Arizona Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic where ethics, professionalism, and competency were emphasized. I am grateful to now be able to use what I’ve learned to guide couples out of problematic patterns, and into deeper closeness, affection, and love.

When I’m not in therapy sessions you can find me relaxing at home with my beautiful wife, playing board games with family and friends, or trying out a new hobby. I enjoy making things with my hands. Lately I have been getting into sculpting in clay. I enjoy mountain biking and hiking when the weather allows. I am also learning how to golf, which has been quite the challenge.

So, if you’re experiencing arguments or disconnection in your relationship and you’re ready to do something about it, don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email, phone, or on this website with any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
